Description

Roszet (rosuvastatin and ezetimibe) is a prescription medication used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in adults. It is a combination of rosuvastatin, a statin, and ezetimibe, a cholesterol absorption inhibitor.

Uses

Roszet is used to:

• Reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels in adults with primary hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol)
• Reduce LDL-C levels in adults with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH), a rare genetic condition that causes high cholesterol
• Reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events in adults with high cholesterol or HoFH

How to Use

Roszet is taken orally once a day, with or without food. The usual starting dose is 5 mg/10 mg (rosuvastatin/ezetimibe). The dosage may be increased or decreased depending on your cholesterol levels and individual response to the medication.
